Artist's Insights:
This painting shows that large, heavy iron machinery can co-exist with human forms as was the case for "Locomotive" one of my earlier works. The image of the young woman follows the curve of the machinery behind her from her hands to the top of her head. As in the earlier painting, the color palate is subdued.
