Q. It's hard to tell where one pairing ends and the other begins.
A. Exactly. This pairing was a no-brainer. The woman's hair in the Picasso was not drawn by Rousseau although it blends in perfectly with his jungle inspired art. Not only the hair, but the eyebrows and the shapes in the hat evoke Rousseau. Even the black background makes the two pairing very similar graphically although very different in content.
