Q. It's hard to imagine Snow White paired with Picasso.
A. I agree. This is an early Picasso during the time he was influenced by the surrealists and cubism was in decline. In looking for a pairing, I followed the musical aspect of the Picasso painting. He loved musical instruments and painted a number of mandolins. Snow White was a ready choice. The colors blend well and she sits comfortably in the center.
