Artist's Insights:
Q. You seem to have placed the Picasso figure at the wheel but at the same time she's centered and dominates the space.
A. This is because the image of the red MG is a 3/4 frontal view. I had to find an art world personnage that fulfilled the same requirement. It is thanks to the sculptural portrait of Dora Maar, Picasso's muse and model, that I found what I needed.
